Another season of riding is closing in on it’s last and final stages.

This year’s season riding around on my motorcycle has been a good one despite the constraints in travel, threats of Covid-19, periodically closed borders and to many accidents involving motorcycles here in Norway.

The miles done on gravel roads and well maintained paths in the forests of Norway and Sweden has been many.

Choice of rubber this year has been the Mitas EO7 +, and these tires has performed excellent so far. Previously I have used the Heidenau K60 Scout and the Michelin Anakee Adventure. So far I am leaning towards the Mitas also for next year.

There has been no major additions of gadgets this season, only a GoPro mount for the camera and one for the GoPro remote.

Early this winter I added a toolbox that replaces the pillion seat from Cymarc and a complete toolkit for the bike from Adventure Designs.

All in all I am really happy with the bike, its performance and the joy it brings me when I am out riding.

I am already looking forward to next year and the prospect of open borders and possibilities for a trip to neighbouring countries.

Maybe the TET in a country not to far away ?? Check out the awesome Trans Euro Trail site for inspiration on gravel travel with motorcycles in Europe.
